Fraser Cathedral is sited right at the birthplace of Christianity in Moruland. During Sudan's civil wars the Cathedral has been burned, occuped and time and again has been bombed. Yet the Cathedral in Lui has been restored and stands as a testimony to the vibrant faith and resilience of persecuted Christians in Sudan.
The Dean of the Cathedral is Rev Joseph Philip. Sunday Worship is held in the Cathedral in English at 9 am and at 11am a large congregation gathers for the Moru service.
